Signs you’re definitely in a recession
Thursday, November 20th, 2008Even Google seems to be tightening its built during this economic downturn. They’re shutting down Lively - a bizarre experiment sort of like a Google-take on Second Life - a mere four and half months after launch. You can read more about this at the Official Google Blog.
It’s a little sad to see a project completely shut down. You can tell it was fun for the developers to make and you know it had to be somebody’s baby in the early stages. Maybe they’ll open-source it or release it in some other capacity, the same way Uclue rose from the ashes of Google Answers?
